Shape: So what kind of workouts do you do to burn off all that extra-virgin olive oil?

I live in New York City but have a cabin in the mountains, so I do a lot of hiking and walking, especially with my dog, Isaboo. I do belong to a gym, but I can't get there as often as I'd like. The idea behind it is to do the absolute minimum to maintain your weight and health -- and to make the routine simple, no special equipment required.

Shape: What's your definition of healthy eating?

If you peeked into my fridge and pantry today, you'd find almonds, cashews, goat cheese, Pecorino, salami, bacon from upstate New York, olive oil, pasta, tuna, an open bottle of white wine, tomatoes and beans. Truly relaxing during meals and enjoying the foods on your plate also matters. I make it a point to sit down, have a glass of red wine and savor my supper every night.

Shape: Workwise, you certainly have a full plate. how do you stay energized?

RR: I really love what I do. In fact, even after a full day of taping cooking shows, I'll come home and head straight for the kitchen. Cooking helps me unwind because it's so meditative. Kelly says she began to lose the weight when she competed on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”, in which she got her exercise and danced her way to third place.

made the 5’2 singer lose weight (she went from a size 14 to a size 2, from 160 pounds to 118 pounds)!

Many people have a dramatic weight loss while on DWTS but after the show ends, they generally gain it all back and for Kelly to have kept it off is an

And while she’s not a big fan of exercise, Osbourne swears by the Bar Fitness Training Method, a class she takes for 60-minutes, three days a week. When she

can’t make class, Osbourne gets her fitness training exercise done by hiking trails near her parents’ California home with mom Sharon and a fitness trainer.

Her exercise program consists of doing push up, sit ups and walking and by the end of the day, she’s gasping for breathe.

Kelly’s Weight Loss Tips



This isn’t the first time that Kelly Osbourne has had a rapid weight loss. She lost nearly 40 pounds on the Blood Type Diet

Here is the workout routine Megan did for her role in Transformers: Megan's workout relied heavily on planks. Hollywood trainer, Craig Ballantyne has a video page which shows several variations (will give link to that page later). Planks are by far the best move for women to get sexy, flat abs like Megan. A Brief Ab Circuit: After blitzing her abs with planks, she would then spend 15-20 minutes doing a circuit that involved knee ups, leg swings, and ball leg lifts. This is done in an interval like fashion...hard effort with just a little rest and back to a tough exercise. The idea is to do 3-4 different exercises back-to-back, rest 30-60 seconds, then do it again. Repeat for 15-20 minutes. It is harder than it sounds! She then took advantage of the increased heart rate by finishing off with 30 minutes of cycling. This was done with low intensity (I'll explain why intervals, followed by low intensity cardio is extremely effective at getting lean). Interval Cardio is great at releasing fatty acids from fat cells (basically releasing fat into the bloodstream) but is not good for using these fatty acids, once released. Low Intensity Cardio is great for using fat for energy, but isn't good at releasing fat from the fat cells in the first place. Megan Fox's Workout Program was a Hybrid Approach. She used body weight intervals to release the fat from the fat cells, followed by low intensity cardio to use these fatty acids for energy. The result was that Megan had a smokin' body for Transformers. This is what Megan's diet plan included leading up to "Transformers".
