Diet Watcher

French fries and Duncan Hines brownies were the snacks of choice for former MTV personality and best-selling author Jenny McCarthy, who gained 80 pounds while pregnant. After giving birth to her son Evan, Jenny followed her mother's advice and joined Weight Watchers for weight loss tracking in groups and also to find out ways to lose weight fast. Weight Watchers helped her slim down since it taught her about portion control and to be conscious of what she eats. According to “Shape” magazine she attended meetings at a center in her neighborhood where she swapped Hollywood celebrity diet recipes with other new moms and eventually slimed down thanks to their tips to for a healthy weight loss. Weight Watchers is essentially a calorie counting plan based on their proprietary points system helping with different tips to lose weight fast. Like any standard calorie counting plan, you can basically eat anything as long as you stay within your allotted daily points. While Weight Watcher points are calculated from calories, fat and fiber (the higher the calories and fat the more points, the higher the fiber the less points), the biggest factor in determining a points value for a food is far and away calories.
A typical day of Jenny McCarthy's simple diet consists for example of an egg white omelet for breakfast, then for lunch and dinner she enjoys fresh fruit and veggies (she purées them to make her own soups) with fish. For snacks she loves “those little packets of nuts from Starbucks”, she told “US Weekly”. Or she could just as well eat some watermelon for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch and a 3 ounce steak for her meat diet dinner. It's basically a simple diet for dummies.

Not a Workout Fan

Jenny McCarthy also stays strong and flexible by practicing yoga ball exercises. Not a fan of working out, although she does sporadic jogging and Tae-Bo, nothing involving core exercise equipment, Jenny says “it’s the perfect diet that ultimately keeps your jeans fitting.”.

When it comes to losing weight, as long as you do things in moderation, the key is to find something that you like and do it. Some of us don't mind dieting but do not like exercising, some of us do not mind excercising but do not like dieting. You do not necessarly have to do both all the time to get good results. Find a combination that you like and stick with it. The key though is that you have to do something. Not dieting and not exercising is a receipe for disaster. As far as being healthy though, which is a little more difficult then just losing weight, we do have to eat healthy and we do have to exercise. The bottom line though, the best exercise program or the best diet program, is the one that YOU do as also mentioned in www.howcelebritiesloseweight.com
